The back of LL3's skull bears evidence of a sharpforce injury: a blow delivered with a bladed or edged implement with sufficient force to slice through the bone entirely, shearing off a portion of the skull. This was not an accident. The nature and location of the wound are consistent with a deliberate and violent strike, and it would have been immediately fatal. We cannot know the circumstances - whether this was interpersonal violence, raid, or other conflict - and the bones offer no further testimony.
